Universally Ridiculous

My roommates Mike and Matt, along with our friend Callie and me, went to Universal Studios Hollywood today! We bought 6 months passes with out Disney Cast Member discount. Yes that's right. Disney Cast Members get discounts there, as well as Six Flags, Knotts, Sea World, LegoLand, all kinds of other theme parks. So we printed out our e-Tickets and headed to the park.

We had to trade out e-Tickets for our passes at the Will Call window at the main gate. Well, lets just say Universal Studios does not employ the same standards of Walt Disney Parks. There was a long line at the  will call and only one window was open. We waited over 35 minuets before it was our turn. Once we got up to the window the woman had no problem printing our tickets, however we noticed that they expired in 4 months! We paid for 6! So she had to call her manager to fix the problem, but instead of the manager coming to help her, he just gave her directions over the phone which took forever. After 50 minuets we were finally handed our tickets to enter the park. Ridiculous. Let me repeat, ridiculous.

Because it was the off season the park closed at five today, and we got there late so we didn't have a lot of time to ride everything we wanted, but not that we have passes we will be back there soon. It is a small park, but it's main purpose is the studio. We missed the last studio tour due to the ticket problem, so we will do that next time.

Today was a fun day. I'm off tomorrow too. Maybe something else fun will happen.
I like step 3.
Bob Iger's (Disney's CEO and President) hat!
His boat was attacked on Jurassic Park: The Ride!

After the park closed we headed to City Walk, which is similar to Downtown Disney District. There were some cool stores and we ate at some restaurant called Karl Strauss.
