Nothing super new here, but I do have a kind of crazy story.
I was working the fireworks. To help with crowd control we put up ropes to define viewing areas from walk ways, very similar to the one seen here:

Well, there was this older guest who rented a Disneyland ECV for the day.

He happened to not notice the white rope and drive straight into it, in the process breaking the front off the ECV, getting tangled in the rope, and running over another guest who looked like they were in a great deal of pain, but rejected medical assistants and was very forgiving. Of course this caused a huge traffic jam with the thousands of people trying to use the crowed walk way. The EVC was no longer working since the front was knocked off so we had to call to have a new one sent. The driver of the ECV was fine, just a little shocked (as any super old person normally is). After watching all of this happen I though it was some kind of silly April Fools joke. It wasn't.
