Disney Check In

This morning I got ready to leave that not-so-fancy hotel.

I had to call a cab to take me to where I was supposed to check it. It wasn't too far down the road, but I didn't want to carry all my crap that far with me. I went through the 17 step process and then I'm up to my new room!

The rest of the day I am checking out the local Vons grocery store and going to a housing meeting. I let you know when I meet one of my roommates later tonight (he checked in last week, so he's already working today).

"Hopped off the plane at LAX with a dream and a cardigan"

For those of you that don't know I am doing the Disney College Program at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. I'm a student at Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. FUN FACT: Columbus is about 36 hours driving time from Anaheim.

I'm going to kept this blog simple, so I don't bore you to death. I wanted to post this yesterday, but the hotel didn't have internet. So here is day one of my California Adventure:

• We left our house at 5:00 EST. Here is my last moment at home.

• After a flight that was about 4 hours too long I landed in Los Angeles yesterday at LAX.

• Then I took a shuttle to this not so fancy hotel.

• Having a little free time I found my replacement for Cici's Pizza Buffet. Remember Shakey's?

• I went to explore Downtown Disney a little. By this time the time difference was catching up to me, so I decided to call it a early night.
